BigFuture Days

College Board is hosting virtual events for high school students to connect directly with college admissions representatives and take action on the most important steps for college.

What to Expect

  • Explore colleges in a way that’s not overwhelming, and show them you're interested.
  • Take action on key college planning steps like searching for colleges and exploring careers and majors.
  • Listen, learn, and participate in live Q&A and online chat with admissions representatives and current students who have been through it all.
  • Download college planning resources, and drop in with questions for a college adviser.

Who: This event is meant for high school sophomores and juniors, but younger and older students are welcome. We also encourage parents/guardians to join along with their students.

We’re bringing together experts from colleges to engage with you about the college planning topics you’re most interested in. Go beyond college websites, and discover what admissions officers are really looking for in your application. You’ll have opportunities to participate in Q&A sessions in small groups, large groups, and through live sessions as well as chat.

BigFuture Days are free for all students and their parents or guardians to attend.

Online registration is required for students to receive access to the BigFuture Day events. If you would like to attend multiple events, you must register in advance for each event.

Yes, educators can find their registration information on the Educator Information page. Note that the registration path for educators is different than that for students.

No, when a student registers for an event, they provide their parent or guardian's email address, and the parent/guardian will receive a separate login to attend the event.

BigFuture Days will offer informational workshops, panel discussions, and interactive guided sessions on college planning topics. Sessions will run between 1545 minutes in length.

Yes. You'll have an opportunity to visit individual colleges and hear directly from admissions representatives, ask questions through individual and group chat, and download important documents and resources to take with you.

Yes, for some colleges attending this event, saving their college to your list on BigFuture, and visiting a college's booth will be a good indication you're interested.

BigFuture Day events are both computer and mobile device friendly.

No application download or plug-in is required to attend a BigFuture Days event.

Student Search Service® is a free service that connects students with approved colleges, scholarships, and educational non-profit organizations. By joining, you'll have the opportunity to hear from colleges and scholarships looking for students like you. Participating organizations pay for this service but there's no cost to you. Students are required to join Student Search Service in order to register for BigFuture Days. For more information about Student Search Service, please visit the Student Search Service page.

When you join Student Search Service as part of your registration for BigFuture Days, we share information that you provide to us on our website or during a College Board assessment. Your information is shared with colleges you interact with during BigFuture Days and organizations participating in Student Search Service. Participating organizations can also search for students using score ranges on the PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT®, SAT, and AP assessments, expected graduation date, self-reported GPA, intended college major, geography, and other limited parameters.

College Board doesn't share disability or heath information, social security numbers, self-reported financial information, or phone numbers.
